The problems I solve
Orders need manual handling
Every order means checking stock, copying details to a supplier or warehouse, and updating a sheet by hand. It is fine at ten orders a day and painful at a hundred.
Stock is never quite right
Inventory drifts between Shopify, your warehouse and your suppliers, so you oversell popular items or miss the moment to reorder.
Customer data goes unused
You know who your repeat and high-value customers are, but nothing tags them, segments them or starts the right follow-up automatically.
Apps that almost fit
You have stacked several apps to cover a process, they do not talk to each other, and the monthly fees keep growing.
What I build
What you get with Shopify Automation
Order automation
Orders routed to the right supplier, warehouse or 3PL automatically, with tags, notes and notifications applied on the way.
Inventory and supplier sync
Stock levels kept in sync across Shopify and external sources, with low-stock alerts and reorder emails sent to suppliers.
Customer segmentation
Customers tagged by behavior such as first order, VIP or at risk, and pushed into the right email or SMS flow.
Reporting without spreadsheets
Daily sales, margin and fulfilment numbers collected into Google Sheets or a dashboard automatically, ready each morning.
Shopify Flow and app integrations
Shopify Flow set up properly, plus n8n or Make workflows that connect Shopify with your ERP, CRM, accounting and support tools.
Custom apps and scripts
When no app fits, a small custom Shopify app or backend service that does exactly what your process needs, using Shopify's APIs and webhooks.

Order and inventory automation
Hover, tap or tab through the steps to see what each one does. Press Run to replay the demo.
- New Shopify order: A Shopify webhook fires the moment an order is paid.
- Check stock levels: Stock for each line item is checked against your reorder thresholds.
- Email supplier: When stock runs low, a reorder email with the right quantities goes to the supplier.
- Update sales sheet: The order is logged to a Google Sheet that feeds your daily sales report.
- Tag the customer: The customer is tagged as new, repeat or VIP based on their order history.
- Start email flow: The tag starts the matching post-purchase email flow in your email platform.

FAQ
Shopify Automation questions
Shopify Flow is great for logic that lives entirely inside Shopify, such as tagging and simple notifications. When a workflow touches other systems like suppliers, sheets, CRMs or accounting tools, n8n or Make is usually the better fit. Many stores use both, and I set up whichever combination keeps things simplest. I will explain which parts belong where during the discovery call, so you are not paying for tools you do not need.
No. Automations run on Shopify's webhooks and APIs in the background, away from your storefront, so they do not touch page speed or checkout. Heavy work such as syncing large catalogues is scheduled and batched to respect Shopify's API limits, so nothing gets throttled during busy sales periods.
Usually, yes. I review the apps you already pay for, use their APIs or built-in integrations where they help, and point out where one workflow could replace several app subscriptions. The goal is fewer moving parts: if an app is doing its job well, it stays, and if a simple workflow can replace it, I show you the numbers first.
Not for most automations. Shopify Flow, webhooks and the Admin API are available on standard plans; a few advanced checkout customisations need Plus, and I will tell you upfront if your request is one of them. If your store does need Plus for a specific feature, I will explain the trade-off clearly so you can decide whether it is worth the upgrade.
Workflows are built with retries, error alerts to email or Slack, and a log of every run, so a failed step is noticed and fixed instead of silently losing an order. For critical flows like order routing, I also add a daily check that compares Shopify with the downstream system and reports anything that does not match.
Yes. When the workflow runs in Shopify Flow, n8n or Make, your team can see it visually, and I hand over a short walkthrough video and documentation explaining each step. The documentation lists every trigger, condition and connected account, so a new team member can understand the setup in an afternoon.
